Avoid APCs by Publishing OA: Understanding S&T's Read-and-Publish Agreements In-Person
Interested in publishing open access but concerned about publication costs? This session will introduce transformative agreements and read-and-publish agreements available through Missouri S&T Libraries and explain how they can help faculty publish open access while reducing or eliminating article processing charges (APCs). Participants will learn how these agreements work, which publishers participate, how eligibility is determined, and how open access publishing can increase the visibility, accessibility, and impact of their research. The session will also highlight additional strategies for sharing research openly and meeting funder and publisher requirements. Light lunch will be provided. Registration is required and limited to 20 participants.
