"The Western Conservatory of Music of Rolla, Kansas City and Chicago: A Glimpse of Late 19th Century Music Education" In-Person / Online

Join us to learn about the history of the Western Conservatory of Music. Established in Rolla in 1882, the music school would move briefly to Carthage, then Kansas City, and finally to Chicago. Dr. David Samson, Missouri S& T assistant professor of music, will cover the history of the conservatory. This event is cosponsored by the Missouri S& T Archives and the SHSMO-Rolla Research Center.
