Lights, Camera, ROLLA!
Missouri S&T Archivist Debra Griffith will give a short talk on the work of Gerald Rackett, a 1920 MSM grad who became the Vice President of Technicolor and innovated several film techniques. This will be followed by a film showing of a full-length “mystery movie,” one made possible by his work with the three-strip filming process. Lions and Tigers and Bears, OH MY!
This event will be at the Rolla Public Library.
Events will be in-person and streamed on both Zoom (register for specific events at https://shsmo.org/calendar ) and Facebook Live (https://www.facebook.com/MissouriSandTArchives/).
